Christians Still in Persecution - It’s Nothings New

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew represented Christians tremendously well in his recent appearance on CBS’ 60 Minutes show.  Bravo to CBS for allowing a ray of truth to bring light on this paramount subject - the continued persecution of Christians.  A wonderful response has been witnessed after this television segment; truth brings understanding, which in turn facilitates hope.  An awareness of realism is beginning to infect the grazed-over ‘ideals’ of the post-modern world. 

The following article was written today in The Hurriyet Daily News, which is the oldest current English-language daily in Turkey, in its ‘opinion section.’

Yes, truth brings understanding, which in turn facilitates hope.  Let us pray that the historic and current truth of the Christian plight under the militant arm of Islam will be recognized by those who are outside of direct oppression!
