Do you shop at SaveMart? Do you want to raise money for St Basil? Well now you can. With the SaveMart S.H.A.R.E.S. program, St Basil can earn up to 3% of every dollar you spend.
What should I do?
- Pick up a S.H.A.R.E.S. card in the St Basil Church office.
- Take it with you when you shop at SaveMart.
- When you go to the cashier to pay give them your S.H.A.R.E.S. card.
IMPORTANT: To take full credit for your purchases, you must give the S.H.A.R.E.S. card to the cashier before they start scanning your items.
How it works
Each time a card is swiped, S.H.A.R.E.S. points are issued to your organizations account. One S.H.A.R.E.S. point equals $1 on a qualified purchase. Your organization will receive a quarterly check for the amount earned at the rate of up to 3%. As soon as they start using the S.H.A.R.E.S. card, your organization starts earning S.H.A.R.E.S. points. There is no limit to how many people you can enroll.
Security
There is no cash value to the S.H.A.R.E.S. card, so no worries if it is lost. The card is issued in the name of the organization, so no personal information is needed or stored. Anyone that shops can use the card to earn S.H.A.R.E.S. points.
Qualifying purchase points will be earned on all purchases except:
- Postage stamps
- All gift cards
- Ticketmaster
- Event tickets sold through the register
- BART & transportation tickets
- Money Orders & MoneyGram
- Lotto
- Charity icon sales, i.e. Shamrocks
- Fuel
- Check Cashing fee
- Senior & Liquor discounts
- Sales Tax
Points are accumulated after discounts and taxes are applied.
